What Quote2Invoice is

A portable workspace for quotes, invoicing, and reporting for small merchants and small businesses that want clear visibility without adopting a full ERP.

Getting Started

The app supports three entry paths, so you can choose between a clean workspace, quick exploration, and real file-based work.

• Open clean workspace: start from a new local workspace with no sample data.
• Enter Demo: opens a ready-to-use sample dataset so you can understand the product quickly.
• Import WZIP: reopen a saved portable WZIP.

Master Data

Before creating documents, it is best to prepare customers, items, and, if needed, vendors.

• Sales > Customers: create or update customers.
• Inventory > Items: define items, prices, and whether they are active or blocked.
• Purchasing > Vendors: prepare vendors for the lightweight purchasing flow.

Invoices and Documents

The product covers a simple but clear workflow: quotes, orders, provisional invoices, posted invoices, and payments.

• Use Sales Quotes to start from a commercial offer.
• Use Sales Orders and Sales Invoices to move toward invoicing.
• Posted Sales Invoices and Customer Payments help you keep track of completed or collected work.

Useful Reports

The included reports are designed to give quick visibility without the complexity of a full ERP.

• Open Invoices: invoices that are still open.
• Overdue Invoices: invoices that require follow-up.
• Aging by Customer: a compact view of receivables by customer.

Saving and Reopening Work

Because data stays local in the browser, exporting the workspace is the most important step to avoid losing work.

• Export WZIP after important changes.
• Keep WZIP as your main reference for sharing, backup, and operational continuity.
• Keep multiple file versions if you want a simple history.
• Reopen your ZIP from any compatible browser to continue working.

Best Practices to Avoid Losing Data

Simple habits that make the product much more reliable in daily work.

• Export WZIP after important sessions or before closing the browser.
• Keep at least one backup copy on a second device or in a synced folder.
• When switching browser or computer, always reload the most recent WZIP instead of relying on the browser's local state.
